Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Case Management/Counseling services are provided to assist individuals presenting with concerns related to alcohol and/or other drug use in effort of obtaining sobriety. Our staff focuses on assisting and supporting individuals over the age of 18 in gaining access to medical, social, educational and other services essential to meeting basic human needs, i.e. housing, employment, transportation, etc. Our staff members work collaboratively with clients, families, mental health providers, and legal entities as needed to ensure high quality and cohesive client care.
Youth Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Case Management/Counseling services are provided to assist individuals under the age of 18 presenting with concerns related to alcohol and/or other drug use in effort of obtaining sobriety and ultimately preventing problematic use as an adult. Our staff focuses on supporting the youth and family to increase necessary skills, access community resources, and coordinate home life, school functioning, and legal and behavioral providers, as needed, to foster positive functioning across all life domains.
Peer Recovery Support Services provides non-clinical, peer-based services designed to engage, educate, and support persons seeking recovery from substance use/abuse as well as mental health illness. Our Peer Recovery Support Service (PRSS) staff members are individuals with the lived experience of recovery from a mental health condition, substance use disorder, or both, and dedicated to providing support to others experiencing similar challenges. PRSS staff can help break down barriers of experience and understanding, as well as power dynamics that may get in the way of working with other members of the treatment team while facilitating linkage to necessary resources such as detoxification centers and ongoing treatment services.
Jail Transition staff are located within Stark County Jail to assist inmates with immediate post-incarceration needs and facilitate linkage to additional resources. These necessary post-incarceration community resources may include, but as not limited to, mental health and/or substance use treatment, employment services, housing assistance, and food and clothing needs. Our Jail Transition staff work to assist with a reduction in recidivism rates within the Mental Health and AOD community by providing support and ensuring continued care upon release.
Fee for services from Stark County TASC, Inc. will be based on financial ability or medical insurance coverage at time of service.
